I’m sitting at my desk, working on a website and I’m loving it.

….and it worries me.

I realise that had I been updating more often this would mean more and I have let my blogging fall by the wayside a bit but I have celebrated a milestone………I have had a blog for over a year!!!!

Yep…..I am a one year old blogger!!!
I have had a great year in Blogdom joining the blogging class and learning a bit more about the lickety web. Through the blogging I have built a couple of websites and I hope I shall continue to develop my skills over the next year or so. I am aiming for a whole new look to the blog for the 2007/2008 season and I had hoped to unveil it before I went away but It ain’t happening so we are back where it all started until i have the time.

Most of you will know that I am off traveling again at the end of the week and will be back in Alaska next Tuesday. All very exciting but I am still trying to figure out how my rucksack has shrunk in the last few months!!

I aim to update feedeediddledee.org as regularly as last year while I am away and I hope to add a couple of new and shiny feature as well. I am planning on having a separate daily photoblog (domain as yet undecided) displaying some of the better pictures of the trip and also possibly a semi-live webcam direct from camp. I’m not as yet sure if the latter will fly but be sure to check back here regularly for any updates, urls etc as they become available.

Anyway, I shall post another update before I go and hopefully a before shot of the intrepid travelers!!

I am now in the airport having been in Auckland since 8:30am this morning and I am rather tired. I think I have been awake for about 45 hours and I can feel it.

I had a great day in Auckland, walked down to the viaduct and had a nice lunch. Saw Tuggles’ boat “Salperton” and generally had a meander around…..oh and Jumped off the sky tower!!!!……..twice!!!!!

Anwyay I will try and post a couple of pictures when I get the chance and a bit more info but in all honesty, right now all I fancy is a beer!!!!

Hannah had half a day off and everything!!!!

Driven by someone who was not happy about driving in the rain,

Upon arrival at a tea rooms, they waited.

After their tea (and sausage sandwich) they watched some fish,

Watched a man eat 4 donuts,

and went for a walk on the beach. (it was windy)

There were 3,

And the dwarf with the camera,

They all had fun.

Then the 2 in the car went home.

We ate and drank and were merry all evening and I think I may be getting into the mood!!!!

Note the vat of mulled cider to get the festivities started!!!!!
